Princess Vacation Protection
PLEASE NOTE: The term “Waiver” currently shown in the “Vacation Protection” drop-down refers to “Cancellation Protection.” This wording will be updated soon for clarity.
Bookings Made Before December 9, 2025:
- Guests may continue to add the original protection programs up until final payment
- The program will remain unchanged, except that loyalty-based upgrades from Standard to Platinum Coverage will no longer be offered
- Existing bookings with At Ease or PVP made prior to the launch will remain under the current plan and will not be impacted
Bookings Made On or After December 9, 2025:
- The Standard PVP Plan will be retired.
- Platinum PVP Coverage: Will remain unchanged, except that loyalty-based upgrades from Standard to Platinum Coverage will no longer be offered
- Cancellation Protection: Will be available for purchase in all markets, excluding Princess UK and Princess Australia

This term replaces the previously marketed term, "Early Booking Discounts". This change means that the promotion code LI1 will be advertised as an "Launch Fare" for all applicable stateroom categories on all applicable sailings; this change will also be reflected in DPRO in the POLAR system. It is important, when asked to provide the promotion description for an LI1 promotion, that you refer to the pricing as an "Launch Fare". |
