Helpful Hints
This is your first opportunity to write down the booking number.This screen features totals for the booking, rather than a breakdown of pricing by passenger. It also features payment dates.
Dining Reservations have moved to the MedallionClass™ App
Now guests can make reservations before their cruise in the MedallionClass app through Dine My Way℠. Or, once on board, choose casual dining or on-demand ordering and delivery.
With Dine My Way, guests can:
- Customize their dining time for each day, once they’ve made the final payment for their booking.
- Select from the main dining room, specialty dining venues or both. If they've already booked and paid for specialty dining, they'll manage those reservations there too.
Princess EZair® – For North America Only
On select voyages Princess EZair will be the only way to book cruiseline air. While creating a booking you will be able to view available air schedules by clicking on the Princess EZair button. Once you have clicked the Princess EZair button the Princess EZair tool will pop-up in a separate window, and here is where you can view the available air schedules and rates for your clients. You will be allowed to select the desired air schedule and rate once the cruise booking is created and deposited.
Flexible Air Option
Passengers choosing the flexible air option will have the benefit of a fully refundable air ticket that can be changed without charges up to 45 days before the first flight, allowing them freedom in their travel plans. Tickets are not payable until the final cruise payment is due.
Restricted Air Option
Passengers may also choose a typically lower-priced restricted option that gives access to competitive fares. These tickets are generally not refundable (e.g. no cash back), and are subject to change and cancellation fees. In addition, restricted air tickets must be paid for at the time of booking to lock in the schedule and air rate. However, prices are not guaranteed until paid in full.
*Once you have selected the desired air schedule and rate from the Princess EZair tool you will need to click the "Refresh" button to view air selection on the deposited booking.
Package Summary
This section gives information about transfers and/or Hotel Packages for your client's booking.
- Abbreviations: XFR = Transfer, APT = Airport, SHP = Ship, HTL = Hotel
Waitlist Matched: When a waitlisted hotel package becomes available, it is marked with the word “Matched". The waitlist matching process is completely automated.
1. When a hotel package becomes available, the system automatically matches it to the next booking on the list waitlisted for that category.
2. A fax is sent out advising of the match and giving the expiration date.
3. You then have two days to accept the match and make any necessary payments.
4. The day the fax is sent, even if it's late in the day (e.g., 5:00 PM on the West Coast and 8:00 PM on the East Coast) counts as the first day.
5. If no action is taken on the match by the end of the second business day, all waitlist requests will be canceled.

Services
This screen includes a services field under the Cruise Fare Information section, which reflects any Special Services gifts purchased by the passengers and added to the booking total.
Gift
This screen includes the gift field in the Commission Information section, which reflects any Special Services gifts purchase by the travel agent and deducted from the commission.

Travel Agent Information
Booking Agent:Displays the travel agent who originally created the booking.
For North America Only
This name is automatically pulled from your enrolled Member Number Profile. If the Booking Agent name is blank, then you should enroll via the Member Profile section of OneSource or you can enroll by joining the Academy. The Booking Agent name is permanently stored on the booking and cannot be changed.
Agent Contact:Displays the most recently designated agent contact. Initially this name may be the same as the Booking Agent. However, this name can change over time if the booking is assigned to a new agent or if a second agent calls to make changes to the booking.
For North America Only
If the Booking Agent is blank, then POLAR Online will assign the profile ID for your OneSource account as the Agent Contact. POLAR Online provides two screens to edit Agent Contact. You can use either the Create Booking or Booking Information screens.
For UK Only
The Complete Cruise Solution booking engine provides two screens to edit Agent Contact. You can use either the Create Booking or Booking Information screens.
Payment Options
Received
The amount of money that has been received on the booking.
Balance Due
The net balance due without the commission.
Final Due
The final payment date.
Option Date – For North America Only
The date by which the deposit must be paid.
NOTE: The screen response "VOYAGE IS NOT ACTIVE" is an indication that the cruise line has control of the booking and modifications may NOT be made through POLAR Online, the Complete Cruise Solution booking engine (please add this in) or your GDS (Apollo, Amadeus or Sabre).
