Default Packages
This screen shows the current packages (transfers or hotels) that are on the booking. Every booking has default packages that are automatically added. Default packages may include transfers and operational (or forced) overnights.
(For North America Only)
On this screen, it is not possible to cancel default packages. All default packages must be cancelled on the Package and Transfer Options screen. You can access this screen by clicking the PACKAGE MENU button.
- To cancel a default transfer package you must click the PACKAGE MENU button and select the "No Transfer" package before and/or after the cruise.
- cancel a default operational overnight hotel package you must click the PACKAGE MENU button and select the appropriate “No Operational” package.

If you need to amend your passengers’ package options, please call our Complete Cruise Solution Reservations team.
Optional Packages Optional packages include hotels or alternative transfers. These are packages that you have specifically added to the booking.
(For North America Only)
These packages may be cancelled on this screen.
- To cancel a hotel package you can click the CANCEL button.
If you cancel an optional package on this screen, the default package will automatically reappear on the booking.

Details
Click on the DETAILS button for a package summary. The Package Summary will show whether a transfer is included in the hotel package and will describe the package.

Cancel
- To cancel a hotel package you can click the CANCEL button.
- To cancel a default transfer package you must click the PACKAGE MENU button and select the “No Transfer” package before and/or after the cruise.
- To cancel a default operational overnight hotel package you must click the PACKAGE MENU button and select the appropriate “No Operational” package.

Package ID
The Package ID is the code that Princess assigned to each package. You can view the package description by clicking the DETAILS button.
Description
Click on the DETAILS button for a package summary. The Package Summary will show whether a transfer is included in the hotel package and will describe the package.
Status:
- Available = The passenger is confirmed for the package.
- Waitlist = the passenger is on a waiting list for the package because the package is not currently available. You can waitlist the passenger for the package they prefer and confirm them for their 2nd choice. If they clear the waitlist Princess will cancel their 2nd choice package and confirm the waitlist. A new booking confirmation will be sent.
Days From Cruises
This shows how many days from the cruise the package begins.
- On a before cruise package days from cruise shows how many days before the cruise the package begins.
- On an after cruise package days from cruise will show “00”, meaning that the package begins the same day the cruise ends.
- On a before cruise package days from cruise “00” means that the package takes place the same day the cruise begins. You will see this on transfer packages.
Before/After
- Before = This package takes place before the cruise begins (pre-cruise)
- After = This package takes place after the cruise ends (post-cruise)
Package Duration
This shows the length of the package in number of nights.
Packages with a duration of “00” are transfer packages. A before package with a duration of “00” takes place on the day of embarkation; an after package with a duration of “00” takes place on the day of disembarkation.
Rates:
- Single = One passenger is booked alone on the package. (Note: Transfer packages are always single occupancy)
- Double = Two passengers are booked on the package sharing a hotel room.
- Triple = Three passengers are booked on the package sharing a hotel room.
- Quad = Four passengers are booked on the package sharing a hotel room.
Included
This shows the internal identification numbers of the passengers who are taking this package. For example, “12” under Included means that passengers 1 and 2 on this booking are taking this package.

To go back one screen, click the BACK button.
Package Menu
To check availability or make changes to default packages, click the PACKAGE MENU button.
