Travel Agent Information
Booking Agent: Displays the travel agent who originally created the booking. This name is automatically pulled from your enrolled Member Number Profile. If the Booking Agent name is blank, then you should enroll via the Member Profile section of OneSource or you can enroll by joining the Academy. The Booking Agent name is permanently stored on the booking and cannot be changed.
Agent Contact: Displays the most recently designated agent contact. Initially this name may be the same as the Booking Agent. However, this name can change over time if the booking is assigned to a new agent or if a second agent calls to make changes to the booking. If the Booking Agent is blank, then POLAR Online will assign the profile ID for your OneSource account as the Agent Contact. POLAR Online provides two screens to edit Agent Contact. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT BOOKING MINORS
General Age Guidelines
- The actual age of the passenger, (as of the date of sailing), is required for anyone under age 21.
- There are age restrictions that vary by product area. See the table listed below for specific information.
- There are no cruise fare discounts based on age. There is a discount for passengers who travel as the third or fourth passenger in the cabin, regardless of age.
- Passengers must be 18 years or older to sail by themselves.
- Passengers who are less than 18 years old, (as of the date of sailing), must travel with passengers who are at least 21 years old.
- Due to international airline regulations, regardless of the relationship of the adult traveling companion, all minors must have notarized written consent signed by both parents or legal guardian unless accompanied by both parents. This written consent must accompany the minor on their cruise. If such a letter is impossible to obtain due to circumstances, the appropriate legal documents should be provided. Failure to provide such documentation may result in the child being denied boarding of the flight or the cruise.

Cunard Care
When minors travel as the third or fourth passenger in a cabin, Cunard Care is automatically provided at no cost as long as it is purchased by the first two passengers, (regardless of age). No change is required on the booking for this to occur, so leave the insurance marked for the third and fourth passengers.
Onboard Information
Children’s Programs
Minors may participate in the appropriate children’s programs based on their ages. Call Cunard for details. Youth Center staff cannot administer medication. Nursery nurses change diapers and bottle feed. Children under 1 are welcome to visit the Youth Center during operating hours, but must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during their stay.
Babysitting
Group babysitting is available on most Cunard ships for an additional charge. Call Cunard for details.
Registration
All minors must be registered before they can participate in any of the organized children’s activities onboard. Call Cunard for details.
Meals
Meal service is not provided in the Activities Center. Ice cream, soft drinks, fruit drinks and cake may be offered for special parties. If a child has any dietary restriction prohibiting these foods, alternative snacks will be provided on request as stated on the registration card. On port days, parents may sign their children up for supervised lunch service.
Restrictions
- The legal drinking age of 21 years is always observed on board and proof of age may be required.
- Passengers under the age of 21 will not be permitted in the Casino and proof of age may be required.
- Other adult areas on the ship may restrict minor passengers from using facilities without adult supervision. Passengers may consult the Reception Desk for information about such limitations.

We encourage all children to conform to the suggested dress code of the day. Children must wear cover-ups over swimwear in interior public areas.
