Helpful Hints

Travel Packages allows you to add, modify or delete transfers, pre-cruise/post-cruise Journeys or hotel packages.

On the BOOKED JOURNEYS, PACKAGES & TRANFERS screen you will find the packages you have sold with the Cruise. Guests holding those packages will have a check mark under their applicable guest number. The guest number is assigned by POLAR and can be referenced on the guest list at the top of the screen.

To cancel a package for a specific guest, click the check box to remove the check mark and click SUBMIT. To cancel a package for all guests indicated on a line, click the orange cancel button at the end of the line (circle with X).

To modify the Room Occupancy for the added hotel package, click the link with the arrow located in the Room Occupancy column. A matrix will open allowing you to choose alternate room occupancy for the hotel stay. This will determine the type of pricing to apply for the number/type of rooms you want. This does not determine who is rooming with whom.

Air:Values in this field will be either Yes or No indicating the use of cruise line air
Suite Occupancy:Values in this field indicate the Suite occupancy on the ship

Packages & Transfers

Matched Status

A Matched Package or Resource indicates that a Waitlist request for this service has cleared and you must contact 1-877-SAIL-HAL Monday-Friday 5am-7pm PST and Saturday-Sunday 6am-5pm PST to accept or decline this service. All Matched Packages or Resources will automatically be canceled if they are not accepted by the Expiration Date listed on your confirmation. Additional Terms and Conditions may apply. PAX 1, 2, 3, 4:Guests on the booking will have a check in the box under their guest number. To add or remove a check mark, click a check box. To cancel a transfer or hotel package for a specific guest, uncheck the check box under their applicable guest number, leaving the check box blank. To cancel a package for all guests indicated on a line, click the orange cancel button at the end of the line (circle with X).
Room Occupancy:This field indicates the room occupancy for the guest’s pre or post hotel package. To change the room occupancy configuration, click the red word with the arrow to open the room occupancy and select the preferred configuration. Click SUBMIT to save your changes. The maximum occupancy will dictate what configuration can be selected.
Date:Date of the travel package or transfer
Description:Brief description of the package or transfer
Duration:The projected length of the transfer or travel package may be expressed in Days or Hours
Depart:The time a transfer or package element departs
Arrive:The time a transfer or package element arrives

To accept changes; click the SUBMIT button.

HINT: When upgrading to a Transfer selection from the Package List, cancel the original transfer FIRST.

To see a list of Travel Packages, click the PACKAGE LIST button. To see the individual package price breakdown per guest (taxes not included), click the VIEW PACKAGE PRICE button. To return to the booked Package and Transfer schedule, click VIEW SCHEDULE button.
